Day 2

I. Welcome. Meeting with the Principal of Primary School Qormi

Establish a warm conversation. Discuss the contract and rules for participation in classes at the partner school, and remind students of safety rules.

II. Tour of the school, learning the most important information about the history of the school, the students’ curriculum, and special school days.

Place a project board in a visible spot in the classroom or school indicating that we are participants in the joint project “School with a window on the world”.

III. Integration activities in motion:

Project participants line up one behind the other.

The first person at the front says, for example, “Book or movie?”

Book lovers step out to the right of the line, movie lovers to the left, and so on.

IV. Treasures of our city game “Welcome to Qormi” – joint preparation of reports and summaries of the game for social media and for our project’s eTwinning page, photographic exhibition:

Create a photo collage of the city game.

Write a short blog post about the game.

Create a video presentation of the game.

V. Summary of the event in the form of a Qormi knowledge quiz and collection of feedback using Answer Garden:

Create a quiz with questions about Qormi.

Use Answer Garden to collect feedback from participants.

Methods:

Interview with the Headmaster;

working with written and oral text – history of the school; Rules and Regulations – rules of conduct;

Multimedia presentations

Visiting the school

Description of students’ school uniforms

Reading the school timetable – lexical exercises around the topic of school, a day at school, school holidays

Team-building and movement games

Gathering vocabulary around a topic – children’s play, sports,

zasady fair play

ICT – Diki app

Learning Outcomes: -Know how to ask questions and interview the Principal of the school

-Acquire information and understand spoken and written text

-Expand vocabulary in terms of the topic: school, names of school subjects, other activities, school dress code

-Provide the address of the partner school and their

-Compare the partner school with their own and share their insights

-They talk about the joys and difficulties of the students

-Can give verbal instructions for the game

-Use the vocabulary of sport

I Powitanie. Spotkanie z Panią Dyrektor Primarry School Qormi

Nawiązanie serdecznej rozmowy. Omówienie kontraktu ,regulaminu uczestnictwa w zajęciach na terenie szkoły partnerskiej, przypomnienie zasad bezpieczeństwa.

II Oprowadzenie po szkole, poznanie najważniejszych informacji na temat historii szkoły, planu zajęć uczniów, okolicznościowych dniach w szkole.

Umieszczenie w widocznym punkcie w klasie , szkole ,że jesteśmy uczestnikami wspólnego projektu ,,Szkoła z oknem na świat”- tablica projektu w szkole partnerskiej.

III Zajęcia integracyjne w ruchu

Uczestnicy projektu ustawiają się jeden za drugim- pierwsza osoba na przodzie mówi np. Książka czy film – na prawo wychodzą z szeregu miłośnicy książek ,na lewo filmu itd

IV Skarby naszej miejskiej gry ,, Witamy w Qormi” –wspólne przygotowanie relacji ,sprawozdań z gry na media społeczniościowe i na stronę naszego projektu w e-twinning, wystawy fotograficznej

V Podsumowanie wydarzenia w formie Quizu wiedzowego o Qormi i zebranie informacji zwrotnej za pomocą Answer Garden, innych aplikacji –do wyboru

Metody: Wywiad z Dyrektorem szkoły;
